1. Purpose
Smart QR Scanner is an Android app to scan QR codes & barcodes, keep history, and create custom QR codes. The publisher is PikScan.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Smart QR Scanner on your devices, subject to these terms and store rules (Google Play).
3. Free service and ads
Smart QR Scanner is free and may show ads (Google AdMob), including full-screen formats at certain times (e.g. after scans). The free experience may change; no “ad-free” guarantee is made for the free version.
4. Your content
- You alone are responsible for content you scan, create, store or share.
- You must have the rights to those materials and comply with applicable law.
- PikScan does not access your locally stored data in normal operation as described in the privacy policy.
5. Availability and accuracy
Code reading is provided “as is”. Results may be incomplete or wrong. Always verify important information before use.
6. Prohibited uses
You may not: reverse-engineer beyond what law allows; disrupt ad services; use Smart QR Scanner unlawfully; bypass security measures.
7. Intellectual property
Smart QR Scanner, its name, logo and interfaces belong to PikScan or its licensors. These terms transfer no ownership.
8. Disclaimer of warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smart QR Scanner is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or error-free operation.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PikScan is not liable for indirect damages, local data loss (back up important files), or harm from using or being unable to use the app. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Termination
You may stop using Smart QR Scanner anytime by uninstalling. We may stop distributing or updating the app.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live. French courts have jurisdiction under the same reservations.
